Centre stage in the new Mancunian hospitality lounge at Manchester City FC’s Etihad stadium is a striking circular bar installation that makes the most of the elegance and versatility of Corian® high tech surface. In the pristine Antarctica colour choice from the exclusive palette for Corian®, this seamlessly curving feature offers a smooth, easy-care surface that will serve the club’s guests in style for the long term.
Designed by 20.20, the high-spec interior is a vibrant, contemporary space created to embody the proud culture of Manchester and the heritage of Manchester City FC, featuring graphic representations of the city's musical legacy and club anthems. The central bar installation was built by fit-out specialists Freemont Ltd on a steel framework with a curved fascia of olive ash slats.
Freemont Director, Charles Roland comments, “The bar design needed a high-performance material that could cope with very fine tolerances while also being easy to maintain and durable. Corian® was the natural choice.”

Material was supplied for the Mancunian Lounge project by CD (UK) Ltd, distributors of Corian® in the UK since 1979.
